Getting Closer!

I think this song is really beautiful. I really enjoy French music actually. I discovered this song a few years ago however thought it was suiting. Hope you enjoy!

Foxes – Youth

Heard this on Gossip Girl (yes, I still watch GG every week) last night and can’t get enough of it, so I thought I’d share. Hope you enjoy it as much as I am :)

Check out Foxes site too for more of their music and some cute pics. I’m in love with it all!

Photos from my week

My past weekend was filled with motorcycles, the beach and Black Lips. Took some pics along the way so I wanted to share…Hope you enjoy!

The whole trip was so much fun, and if you haven’t heard of the Black Lips you should definitely check them out!

Photos taken by myself and Brandon Rau!

Happy Spring!

It’s official, today is the first day of Spring. We’ve been counting down for the past couple of weeks, so we could not be more excited that it’s finally here! We wanted to do a little recap of everything Spring we’ve commented on to make it easy for us all to get our Spring style right.

Spring Fashion:

Colors

Pastels

Neons

Silhouettes

Layered Neutrals

Floral Prints

Athletic Chic Style

Gradients

Spring Shopping

Spring Beauty:

Hot Mess Hair

Exaggerated Cat Eyes

Red Lips

Neon French Manicure

And of course we can’t forget our Spring playlist! Now that we’ve covered all the basics to Spring style, we’ll hopefully be getting some posts up about how we apply these looks to our own style.

What look are you most excited to try? Are there any that you’d rather not see on people? Let us know!

10 Days…Songs to Welcome Spring With

Spring Day

I couldn’t decide if I wanted to call this post “songs to welcome Spring with” or “songs to ride your bike to” or “songs to have a picnic to” because they all seem like appropriate activities to do while listening to the following music.

Angus and Julia Stone – Big Jet Plane

Tanlines – All of Me

The XX – VCR (Matthew Dear Remix)

Feist – Mushaboom

All Mankind – Simple Desire

Mungo Jerry – In the Summertime (yes, this is the song from Wedding Crashers)

The Be Good Tanyas – Littlest Birds

Braids – Lemonade

Miike Snow – Paddling Out

Ida Maria – Quite Nice People

Vampire Weekend – Diplomat’s Son

Cults – Go Outside

Kate Nash – Merry Happy

Discovery – Orange Shirt

Zee Avi – Just You and Me

Some are old, some are new, but all of these songs are great to listen to on that first day where you really feel Spring. So put on a pretty sundress and hop on your bike with your Mp3 player or roll down all the windows in your car and turn these up really loud.

Hope you enjoy them all as much as I do!

If You Don’t Know, Now You Know!

This past weekend I went to a Cotton Jones concert in Tampa. They’re an indie folk-pop band that I’ve been listening to lately so I thought I’d share the love!  Take a listen!
