Streets of Paris

The streets of Paris are not only filled with beautiful architecture and breath taking sites, it also is a fashion bloggers haven to some amazing fashion. Like any big city, there is plenty of great fashion to go around, however Paris seems to bring on its own sense of character. Maybe it’s the vision of nearly every Parisian flaunting a perfectly knotted scarf or just being in a whole new country, but the street fashion in Paris definitely has something that kept my interest.

Just hanging at Louis place…

I’m backkkkk! France was absolutely breath taking! I’m pretty sure I am in love with the place ( I think the mass amount of pictures I took can prove this..447 to be exact). I visited both Bourges and Paris while away. Both cities have so much to see and I cannot wait to go back!

While staying in Paris we also took a day trip over to the Palace of Versailles. The chateau is the prior residence of Louis the 14th and Marie Antoinette, and it is giant! Louis’ place not only has a front gate made out of gold, but a view of endless gardens you could get lost in for days. We visited the chateau on Sunday May 13th, however who knew that the very next day Karl Lagerfeld would be debuting his 2013 Cruise line in the same place! The interesting part of the new Chanel line is not the expected reference to Marie¬†Antoinette, but to Madame du Barry, a mistress of Louis XIV, who he’d dress up in men’s clothing.

Below are both photos from my trip and the amazing 2013 Chanel Cruise line. Enjoy!

Simple Tattoos

I’ve wanted a tattoo for quite some time now, but have never worked up the courage to do it. I love the look of just a simple tattoo, in a location that sorta makes the viewer do a double take to make sure they’re actually seeing a tattoo. It reads as more feminine and pretty to me than someone covered in tattoos (not saying that a person covered in tattoos can’t be feminine or pretty). I think for my first tattoo I’ll end up doing a small shape in all black to ease my way into the tattoo world.

Manicure Monday – Healthy Nails

I am at constant battle with my nails and trying to grow them out to be long and healthy. However, it seems like every time I think I’ve started to achieve healthy nails they immediately all start to break and peel and then I’m back at square one with awful looking nails/cuticles.¬† Today, I finally went a little youtube crazy and watched a ton of videos on healthy nails and found two that brought up points I think might actually help that I haven’t really heard before. I found the below photo on Pinterest and not only do I love the polish, but the length/shape/condition of those nails is how I eventually want mine to look on a regular basis.

Buy Me These!

I’m in the market for a new handbag for Spring/Summer, but it’s hard to choose one considering I like the current one I have so much.

I bought the bag below a little over a year ago from Urban Outfitters and am in love with it. I’ve been using it on and off for the past year and it’s still available on their site in grey, black and white and I definitely recommend it. It’s remained in great condition and goes with just about everything in my closet. However, I get bored easily and want to change it up every now and then, so I need another everyday handbag (possibly even 2) that I’ll love just as much as my UO one.

7 Chi Pyramid Studded Tote – UrbanOutfitters.com $79

I’ve been eying a lot fringe bags lately including the Plaza Slouchy Zippered Hobo Bag by Gentle Fawn available over at 80spurple.com. It comes in black or tan and I’d probably go with the tan. Also, it looks like it’d be a good size for an everyday handbag, not small, but not exactly an overnight bag.

The next bag I’ve been considering is by Imoshion. The bag itself is a little bit louder than what I’d usually go for but I like it and I really like Imoshion. They use all vegan materials, which to me is always a bonus. And I’ve bought the brand before, so I trust them for good quality. The bag has lots of compartments and comes with a free matching makeup bag and detachable blue tassel keychain!
