Be Conscious

Last night, I was finally able to shop and try on some of H&M’s Conscious Collection and was pleasantly surprised.

For those of you that don’t know, the Conscious Collection, according to their website, is clothing made from “conscious materials for a more sustainable fashion future.” In other words they’re producing clothes made from organic cottons, linens and recycled materials such as polyester and wool and many more. Also, according to their website, they’re doing more than just using environmentally-friendly materials such as donating clothes to charity, using less water in their denim production and “educating garment workers in Bangladesh on their rights.” If you’d like to learn more about H&M’s conscious collection go here.

Easy Boyfriend Short DIY

If you’re like me, at one point or another, your jeans will eventually rip in the inner thigh. It doesn’t matter how expensive my jeans are, they will always do this. So when this recently happened to yet another pair of my favorite jeans, I decided to try something new and turn what was left into a wearable pair of shorts. (This DIY can also be done with a pair of jeans that haven’t ripped).

Coachella – Festival Fashion

A few things are necessary when attending an all weekend music festival: 1.) water (a must)  2.) sunglasses (my current crave below) and 3.) stylish attire! (another absolute must!)

Round, rimless animal print sunnies from Urban Outfitters – $14.00

While browsing the internet, (and dreaming about being at Coachella), I came across many fashion envious items that I had to share with you.

*all images link to source*

Booties, hot shorts, hi-low skirts, tribal shapes, animal prints, cross-bodies, studs and lace galore! I really love each of these outfits and there is no doubt about it that I would wear any and all of them! Even though Coachella is sold out for the year, I plan to keep the inspired fashion from it rocking hard!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!
As a little girl, I always loved Easter, not only because my family went to Florida every year, but because my mom would take us out and buy us each a pretty new dress to wear on the occasion. It was always really girly and covered in lace or floral or ruffles and in some sort of bright or pastel color, but I remember it always made me feel awesome to wake up Easter morning and have a new dress to show off. So this Easter we’re wishing you a happy Easter filled with jelly beans, colored eggs and that feeling of putting on a fabulous new dress!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!
